Inductrack Equations


The design equations for the Inductrack have been developed by the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL). MATLAB has been utilized to analyze the equations.

The GUI created for the array of inductor method is shown in figure 1. The input parameters are shown to the left and the outputs to the right. The current data on in the GUI is for the LLNL’s first Inductrack.

The second GUI created is for the laminated sheet method. The inputs are on the left, and the outputs on the right. This is shown in figure 2.

The second GUI created is for the laminated sheet method. The inputs are on the left, and the outputs on the right. The current data shown is for the Maglev train being created. This is shown in figure 3.
