If you are a juggler and don't know about The Juggling Information Service, you are really missing out. I am interested in about everything on here: Juggling Balls, Ball Spinning, Balloon Modelling, Bubble Blowing, Bullwhip FAQ, Cigar Boxes, Footbag, Frisbee, Kites, Knife throwing, Magic, Origami, Rope Tricks, Shaker Cups, Slackrope, Ball and Umbrella Help File, Boomerangs, Devil Sticks, Diabolo, Fire Eating and Breathing, Stiltwalking, Unicycling, and Yo-yoing.
I've been yo-yoing since high school and learned all of the core tricks plus the ones in Duncan's Yo-Yo & Spin Top trick book, which is really good by the way. My favorite tricks to do are the man on the flying trapeez again, the roller coaster, shoot the moon, and a rock the baby again. If anyone needs any pointers on a trick that just won't work, I will be glad to help out. Just email me about it. I would really like to learn two handed tricks, and if anyone has any cool tricks that they have made up, I would be interested.
I have noticed a thread about what is the best yo-yo to use and thought I would put my two cents worth here. The best yo-yos ever made are the ones that Dr. Tom Kuhn makes. He has a wide selection, but the old faithful in his collection is the 3-in-1 No Jive yo-yo with the special axil that can be replaced or causes the yo-yo to transform into 3 different configurations. Duncan use to make good wooden yo-yos, I hear; but they switched to plastics to make them cheaper to mass produce. It was a good plan back then, but the yo-yo's aren't that good and fall apart really easily. I have found that the only Duncan that I like is the proffessional yo-yo. It is kind of skinny and has a bubble cover that they put different pictures in or you can put your own. It feels like a wooden yo-yo, but is lighter. Another plus is that the yo-yo doesn't seem to want to fall apart as easily. I also recommend almost any wooden yo-yo that you can find.
