November 13, 2001:

Initial webpage setup for file access and index.html page.  Simple logic gates designed with LEDIT, such as nand, inverter, nor, xor, xnor, or and and.  Before this week, and the existence of this webpage, the project was selected with assistance from Dr. Prasad.

November 20, 2001:

Logic Works simulation of example encryption system is explored.  It makes little sense at the time.  More LEDIT gate design.

November 27, 2001:

We now have a working D flip flop and transmission gate in LEDIT.  A block diagram and project proposal is turned in to Dr. Prasad.

December 4, 2001:

Project presentation by Adam and Brian, attended by Dr. Prasad, Dr. Anakwa, and the DRT (Design Review Team).  Investigated the actual encryption process by hand.  More LEDIT design. 

December 11, 2001:

   Webpage updated.  Further VLSI design in LEDIT with shift registers utilizing D Flip Flops.  DRT Reviews, turn in final proposal to Dr. Prasad on Thursday. 

December 18 to January 22, 2001/2002

Home for winter break, distancing ourselves as much as possible from this stuff (Adam 200 miles, Brian 800 miles).
