Embedded Control Systems Workstation
by
Eugene Cohen
Advisor: Dr. W. Anakwa

A tool to facilitate the development of real-time embedded control systems was implemented in the Embedded Control Systems Workstation project. This workstation will be used by students to rapidly prototype embedded controllers. The workstation consists of the following:

  • A PC with control system modeling, simulation, and code-generation software
  • An AC-104 unit, sold by Integrated Systems, Inc., for implementing generated code
  • A Motorola 683xx-family Modular Evaluation Board with a 68376 Processor for implementing production code
These subsystems have been installed, configured, and tested for proper operation. Documentation for the workstation has been created and is available to future users of the workstation.
