A Graphics Animation Software Package for the TMS34020 Graphics Processor
by
Nick A. Schmidt
Advisor: Dr. T. L. Stewart

A graphics animation software package, based upon the Commodore Amiga V1.3 Graphic Element (GEL) System, has been created on the Texas Instruments TMS34020 graphics processor. The graphics is based around a set of complex data structures for the C programming language. The graphics display revolves around the Bob (Blitter Object), AnimComp (Animation Component), and the AnimOb (Animation Object) data structures. These data structures and others dictate the form and function of the video display computer code. The system supports single and double buffered video displays with the option to retain the background video data.
